It’s not sad; it’s the neverending references to Oz. There is a Univ of Phoenix ad on TV many times a day, where they sing “If I Only Had A Brain.” The movie never dies. 🙂

Mrs. Gulch was in “The Wizard of Oz.” She was the mean lady on the bike. Betty is the nice lady on the bike. 🙂
