In honor of Buster Keaton’s birthday, I want to share some fun gifs of his work. Best known for his silent films, demonstrating his physical comedy with a deadpan expression, he was nicknamed “The Great Stone Face.” As you’ll see in these images, it’s a miracle he made it to age 70, after all those stunts. If you haven’t seen one of his flicks, do yourself a favor.
I love Buster Keaton movies. We used to watch them at a local pizza parlor on Friday nights after school. He was amazing.

I suspect nowadays it would be a hunt to find them.

I love Buster Keaton but my favourite was always Harold Lloyd.

Pale and with those round glasses. I don’t know much about him. I’ll have to look into it!

He lost fingers on one hand doing a stunt with explosives. Doing all his own stunt work was his USP.

!!!! God forbid. And now I know what USP is.

Excellent! I love Keaton. You know he did a lot of his own stunts – many that were very dangerous, yet he never flinched or anything! So crazy.

I love Buster Keaton. I always thought his “stone face” was more expressive than other stars of the time with their constant “mugging”. He was in a Twilight Zone episode around 1960. Still with the “stone face.
