Is it me, or does that look like a frosty pint of ale, instead of motor oil?

The attendants were so thoughtful, giving lollipops to youngsters! This was before kids were diabetic, when Mom wore pearls and heels to fill ‘er up.

And Dad wasn’t left in the dark. Roy could talk shop and spill the tea. He was worse than a gossiping hen.
Makes you want to travel on the wide, open road, don’t it, folks? Well, maybe in late May…
I remember fill-ups similar to these when I was a lad, Kerbey. When I started driving and paying for my own gas, it cost 29 cents a gallon.

Why is the entire family wearing white? To or from church? Second thought probably not. The dude would more than likely be wearing a tie and jacket. You are right about the ale/oil. Looks drinkable to me. Now I see where you got the header photo. Great looking cars.

I’ve never actually seen a whole family wearing white out in the wild.

Neither have I. The only time I have seen that many wearing white was at a tennis tournament back in the 60’s.

I love the artwork but the white dress and the heels are pretty funny for the situation. And I agree it looks like beer. Let’s hope nobody confused what they were supposed to do with the fuel.

You’re not wearing heels and pearls during lockdown? Scandalous Kerbey!
