Clever ad. I remember Texaco Fire Chief but was not aware of its source until now. Thanks for the info. Today gasoline has no identity; no personality. Just an expensive necessity.

To me, Texaco was always the one with the catchy jingle: ” “You can trust your car to the man who wears the star, the big bright Texaco star.””
