That’s a tight formation, boys.
Other than the silkiness of the shorts, the track and field outfits for these Dallas high school fellas in 1967 didn’t vary much from those in 1936 at the University of Kansas.
Less fabric = more ease of movement. And what a fine-looking trophy.
Still, a little more length in the shorts might be preferable. I don’t think he’s going to clear this one, y’all.

Awkward!

Hah! These short shorts only rate a tad higher than my opinion of speedos! β€

I’m not sure if that first photo is a twerking contest or a recreation of the famous evolution drawing of man evolving from ape. Either way, it’s seriously wrong.

Too close to comfort for certain. I pray they were just posed that way and not usually close enough to make a train. It does look like an evolutionary drawing. I guess the lucky man is pulling up the rear.

The steeple chasers forgot their horses, or they might have cleared the pond.

My husband, who ran track, said no one ever cleared it, that you were SUPPOSED TO land in it. Wth?

Confounded event to me, Kerbey? In golf, I try to hit my ball over the water hazard.
