      1. yes, in an elevator, in a hotel bar. I remember watching the movie at home shortly after having Clare. Have seen it again since and remember it as a powerful film. Cry like a baby at the end every time. They love each other but can’t act on it and each must return to their terrible lives. The End.

        Bill Murray plays an aging actor who is in Tokyo to make commercials for a Japanese whiskey company 🙂 (this interests me as Japanese whiskey seems to be a cool thing right now in bourbon-nerd circles)

      2. how could she fall in love w/ him when he is so much older? i know he is funny, and i know she dated sean penn or whatever, but that is a HUGE age difference.
