Egad that is one ugly fabric. But he certainly is having a good time listening to his state of the art tape to tape recorder. Bobby Darin? Or maybe a Gene Krupa drum solo. We’ll never know.
What I so love about you Kerbey is how that lamb print love seat can jump out of the picture at you. You must have been really good at the Highlights magazine “find-the-12-hidden living room items” page.
I, on the other hand, must be rather lame at the exercise. What is the source of the music that is making this hipster groove? I don’t see a turntable, or a tape. It doesn’t look like a radio of any sort. There are knobs. A sound board? A glimpse of a drum set in the background. I wanna know.
The lamb print was just a joke bc this guy is so obviously rocking out n his sweet striped tie. I’m pretty good at finding the living room tents, but I preferred Goofus and Gallant.
You are supposed to be the one, explaining all these historical items to me. All it said was he was letting off steam. It must be a turntable inside the briefcase.
Ram On: Give Your Heart to somebody…soon…right away…
Extra Points if you name the Artist and the Song
Special credit if ya get what was on the album cover.
(Which should all be obvious)
😉
You’re not really drinking Folgers, are you, Lance? I will share my freshly ground HEB’s finest (Rio Grande with a hint of orange citrus) pot o’ coffee with you.
how do you know it is not a chair? And the turntable is clearly an earlier version of the iPod: a mobile device (that handle isn’t just for looks) that plays music. And he’s using big ear buds, too.
Goofus and Gallant were my favorite. I will admit to feeling superior to Goofus as I had much more in common with Gallant. Whom did you favor?
That’s why I liked G squared (and most things!); feeling superior to Goofus is a pleasure. It’s like, what did he do this time? Numskull…You might be right, it could be a chair. I actually like it. Does that make me crazy?

He’s having quite a good time, yes, beyond the sea.

Could be… I was thinking more Mack the Knife. He may look like a gentleman, but under the dark suit and striped tie is one bad boy.

I see. I am the one who explains the history of your old photos. Pardon me. I have misplaced my monocle and ear tin, Kerbey.
By the way, I say three cheers to any gal who can drop the names Goofus and Gallant on me.
I tried to live up to your age expectations by using the term gal, FYI.
