  2. He must have just eaten some shredded pork or maybe broccoli. Thinking it was a generational thing as my father-in-law (age 80ish) is never without one. Seems silly, but that’s just me.

    The other unanswered question is why he’s reading a magazine on a stand. ?? Looks like a good place to put cookbooks when you’re baking or cooking.

    1. Right? One seems to be studying, and one seems to be studying pin-ups. Maybe that’s why he has that oral fixation. You need to get yourself one of those stands.

  4. Oh, that toothpick look sometimes is still going on, if you go to a cafeteria style restaurant and I prefer the country men and women who stuck strands of hay or straw in their mouths! Reminds me of Andy Griffith and his son! This brought a smile to my face! Smiles, Robin

    1. Haha. My husband can’t resist grabbing toothpicks when we leave a restaurant, either–just like his daddy and granddaddy, so it’s multi-generational.
