These are great. When I was a kid our neighborhood drug store had dark wood and high shelving. A formidable looking place and you could always find the owner working.
That first photo looks like a liquor store but I guess that’s a sort of “dispensary.” I wonder if their receipts were a mile long back then like CVS today?

I would be quite certain a few in these pictures went to war just four years later. I wonder what happened to them.
