Growing up, those brands were always in the house. But nowadays an ad of “Rub a dub dub, three men in a tub” would probably include a link to a website that could land you in trouble. Next, the Dionne quintuplets in the Palmolive ad were born May 28, 1934 and are the first quintuplets known to have survived their infancy. Two are still alive so I guess the Palmolive worked.
My mother has always used an olive oil based hand soap in the kitchen and yet I have never made the connection between that as a soap ingredient and the palmolive brand. You’ve educated me today.

Well I’ll be. I have heard of Palmolive nearly my whole life and I never made the connection with olive oil.
