Yum! I love those in dips and dressings and salads and with tuna and with potato chips. I have found that food does not make the best accessory – we had an art exhibit here that was a woman’s dress made completely of meat. True story – it had a somewhat limited shelf life. Ha! Besides wearing food could potentially encourage birds and other critters to try to eat you. Or perhaps that’s the point? Ha!
I just burst out laughing the moment I figured out the joke! Also, is this your most “contemporary” magazine post? I don’t think I’ve seen you post anything from a year that started with a 2 before…
Well, I go buy magazines on the cheap from a used bookstore quite often (and also old yearbooks), so I had to share her pic. But you’re right–not often.
I agree with Fannie. The year says 2014 but the photo screams 1994. Keith Urban was under-aged when that dried fruit was hung around her neck. Whaddya think, Kerbey?
Sun-dried tomatoes would probably make as much sense as those words of wisdom.

Oh, I know… I just wanted to reinforce how ridiculous those words are!

I get it. They are pretty lame aren’t they?

Umm, I may be dense but I have to ask: How is the photo related to sun dried tomatoes? Wait a minute – is the necklace made of sun dried tomatoes?

Yes. It looks just like the sun dried tomatoes that I buy in a pouch and chop up into my salads. Identical!

Ew, that sounds like when Lady Gaga wore that meat dress, and the girl seated behind her said it reeked to high heaven.

I was laughing out loud at this one! You put together the FUNNIEST posts, Kerbey! 🙂
Leave it to the rich and famous to put food around their necks.

Nicole looks really young in that photo. Perhaps it was a fad that didn’t last, sundried tomatoes, like candy necklaces. Hmmm.

Ooh, I did like me some candy necklaces. They were always so hard to bite through, though! Chipping enamel away…

I think he is probably a better match for her than Tom.

I know he is a much better match for her than Tom. I really like Keith, via his music and his role on “American Idol.”
