The big fellow in the bow tie must have been a Center when he played. By today’s standards he would be a shooting guard. Peeps are a lot bigger than in 1949.
The guy in the center is a coach or a visiting dignitary. I’m wondering if it’s not star athlete Jim Thorpe visiting North High in Denver for some reason, Kerbey. He played multiple sports, thus the illustrations on the side panel …
I always dress that way when I play basketball. Mostly because I’m terrible.

It’s gotta be better than teensy satin shorts.

Did you notice the gentleman in the bow tie looks like a cross between Jimmy Stewart and Harrison Ford?

I think my dad went to Denver’s North High! Will have to figure out which years. For sure he was not sporty.

Oh, I wish I had another year. The yearbook was called The Viking.

Judging by the pants on the two guys on either side, they expected to do quite a bit more growing. Rolled up for the future!
