Hey, where’d you get the picture of the Canadian Army? (No disrespect intended – it just seems they are asked to do more and more with less and less) Ha! The second from the left so looks like my Dad in those days (he has passed away now) . And it would be something he would do too – march around with a wooden sword.
You have made me sad for the Canadian Army. They need good equipment to do their job. This was actually a group of college boys being initiated into Scabbard and Blade. But God only knows what they did…Did your dad have that ho-hum look on his face as well?
He could and did put on many different faces when he was fooling around. He could do an awesome rendition of “I’m a Little Tea Pot” complete with all the arm motions and dance. He had a great sense of humour and could always make a group laugh. He had a serious side too and was a very successful business man. I miss him.
