  1. I bet Chuck and Charlie could have sued the assumptive caption writer above, Kerbey. Goodness. Or maybe they just hunted the offender down and blew ganja smoke in his or her face.

And to call what Dorothy is doing “Jivin’ ” is a real stretch of the dancing vernacular, I think.

  2. just too many words in that second caption. And speaking of high, what’s up with the jivin dude’s hair? But my big observation and interpretation is what if you love drinking, dancing, and Baptists? Must they be mutually exclusive?

    1. Well, my husband was Baptist for nearly 30 years, but I have actually danced and had a drink with him, so I guess it is possible eventually to bring all three into harmony. Maybe just behind closed doors. And I think both jivers are subcribing to “the higher the hair, the closer to heaven.”

    1. Did I already tell you I got Brian’s autograph 20 yrs ago, waiting tables at a place called Toonerville? It’s probably in a stack somewhere…He can still shake a tailfeather.

      1. Oh, sorry–dang, I wish that were true, but it was a restaurant called Toonerville in a town called Oak Hill. Not as interesting. It was a very Zima time.

    1. I don’t know enough about them to say, but I know they don’t allow musical instruments in their worship. I don’t want to be mean to any groups (freedom of worship), but ain’t nothing wrong with dancing.
