*Though often attributed to him, Cary Grant never actually said, “Judy, Judy, Judy” in any movie. Evidently it was another lesser-known actor, who was greeting Judy Garland while doing his Cary Grant impersonation, who said it.
Once I glued my 69 Nova muffler pipe back to the muffler with Crazy Glue and immediately thereafter my thumb and forefinger got stuck together. My mom, name of Dolores, had to use nail polish remover to unstick them. Apropos of nothing, really, Kerbey. I hate when legendary cliches are unearthed as totally false by journalists, by the way.
I did when I was young, but we don’t watch a lot lately. The cable company took off Turner Classic Movies, and we don’t do Netflix or anything. I had books full of MGM stars and Hollywood books when I was little. BTW, when my car got scratched on the door, I had to pay $3500 to get it painted at an auto body shop bc they had to do the entire side panel for one small scratch. But I didn’t want it to rust, and I would never just let it there, so I did it. I wouldn’t paint one myself. You need that airbrushing tool.
Nothing says Love like painting your best gals name on your jalopy; after she has painted it lavender. With a brush. I can’t see Cary doing that.

I once painted my car (it was a ’49 Chevy!) with a paint brush. Bright lime green. It was about 1968 so don’t judge me. The result wasn’t pleasant.

Was the paint made for cars? Wouldn’t it rust?

Rust is what held that car together. I don’t think it was car paint.

I will pipe up as the (so far) lone female commenter and note that I have never painted my car. They come already painted so why do more?
Forgetting if I already know this: Do you like classic old movies, Kerbey?
