Am sure this is a fabulous post, but I am too distracted by your photo of Isaac Washington in the upper left. Yay–’80s flashback! He was the best TV bartender of all time, I’m certain. No one would dare call HIM a mixologist.
Side story that is sort-of related: Was jammin’ to most excellent tunes on the car radio this morning. Devo, Huey Lewis, etc. I wondered what awesome station I had found and was mortified to see I was listening to what is known as the “oldies station.” Wha’? How did this happen?
Oldies is supposed to be 50s and 60s and never ever change. How dare they? I heard someone on TV say oldies or vintage is anything over 20 yrs old. So 1993 is oldies, too? We were spoiled in our rental SUV with Syrius, so I got to hear music by decades for a 15 hr drive. I heard more Toto than ever before.
And who can’t like Isaac? He marries joy with alcohol, a bowtie with a nearly Fu Manchuan stache. Perfect.
I always seem to check out your posts in the wrong order. I like your new layout. I am not quite sure what to make of Issac. I was in my 30’s in the 80’s and I wasn’t much of a Love Boat fan. Sorry. In your pic. I think were I the 2 on the scooter I think I would cover my face. Those 2 pedal bikes are way cooler in my estimation. The two big cycles look pretty good. That is what the 2 hikers ought to shoot for.
