  1. I’ve always been tempted to buy a vintage typewriter. I only stopped using mine 15 years ago when sourcing ribbons for it became challenging and expensive. I can’t justify giving space to something non-functional though.

    1. Well, I would look at it like it’s art. They were really cool, but $200, and that’s way out of my league. I love the look of them. But II understand what you mean about the non-functional.

    1. No? That’s where I found a lot of my old yearbooks but now they seem to want 30 or $40 for your book when I can find them in Austin for 10 or 15 if I really search at a used bookstore. This place was more like a flea market. Do you like antiques? I don’t mean $300 chairs or anything.

      1. Of course if the price is crazy then buying it would be equally crazy. I enjoy antiques. I used to own a few and some of my original nut crackers were antique. Especially furniture. There is just something about the feel of the wood. Oh about 40 years ago I bought a tux circa 1940 something for $25. Had it tailored to fit. Had a lot of fun with it.
