Passing through Lampasas, Texas, we stopped into Rustler’s Junction and noted these taxidermied critters. Taxidermy ain’t cheap, y’all. That boat of animals was priced just under two grand.

How about this guy, getting into the Cracker Jacks? Even post-mortem, they’re STILL sneaky little buggers!

  1. I get that taxidermy requires a lot of skill and time but I have never been able to fathom the price tag either.

  3. Wow, a packaged deal with trash pandas, fart squirrel and a passel of possums. Factoid of the day” female possums are called “jills” and males are “jacks”. Slow possums are often referred to as road kill.
