We were able to feed the giraffes lettuce at the zoo in Tyler, Texas this past June. How fun to get up so close to them!

What a cool experience! Did you get to pet them? Was it intimidating to feed them at first?

Well, each person had to pay, and I’m cheap, so I let my son and husband do it. I just stood back and snapped pics. But it was cool to have them be so close. I didn’t see them get pet. They just wanted lettuce.
