I remember many years ago reading about a proposed project to divert fresh water that eventually runs off into the ocean to areas that suffer from drought. Obviously it never happened;but I still think about that when I read about devastation from flood and drought.

Well let me ship some of ours to you right away Kerbey. Seems we had the rainiest July since 1889 or something like that! ❤

I was going to say the same as Diana. Our long houseroad / driveway looks like the photo. We know we’re close to home by the stream running down the hill! hehe 😉 Happy day

I saw in one of your posts that it had been raining and I got very envious. Our yard looks like we could make a dozen scarecrow heads with yellow straw. I’ll trade you a week of scorching sun for your rain.

Hang in there. We had a summer of no rain followed by winter with overflowing dams. Sadly not soon enough for the trees we lost… Doing a rain dance for you. jiggy jig.

It is hot here in Ottawa as well Kerbey – touching 100F daily with no rain – very hot for us. We had dry thunder last night for about 2 hours but not a drop of rain. be of good cheer – this too shall pass.

Yes, my fingers are crossed! Rain will come one day. But I just hate watching the trees and grass dying. The fig tree only makes withered little things now. And that dry thunder is such a tease, Paul. Isn’t that heat unusually hot for you?
