It’s hard to effectively capture an image of nighttime rainfall, but this pic from the ’73 Indiana University yearbook did a nice job. It’s the kind of shot that sets a mood and makes you want to write a short story.

Wow. Thanks for the memories. I saw so many movies there with friends I gotta’ just grin. I watched “Romeo and Juliet” with the girl I loved back then. The fact that she resembled Olivia Hussey made it all the more memorable. A few years back I visited Bloomington and now the site is some sort of chain restaurant. Whoever said you can’t go back sure hit the nail on the head.

Memories indeed. If my memory is correct, the Von Lee was an art film theater when I was there. So of course, not being cultured, I never entered the building.
