Berets? At first I was going to make some smart remark about French or Commandos,then I realized that at one time berets were considered smart headgear for ladies. As for the Frankie Avalon looking cheer leaders I don’t remember male cheerleaders when I was in college,or high school. I see men leading cheers on TV for College football games so I guess they are a thing now. I think I like their outfits better than the “modern” ones.
I wonder what the future brought to the drum major? In the photo he seems so darn happy like this was as good as it was ever going to get. I kind of hate to think he ended up working for the IRS in Waco.
