I think the photographer must have had just the one idea as to how to stage everyone to look busy and studious. OK, everyone, stare intently at X object and for goodness sakes don’t make eye contact with each other or the camera.
I liked this odd collection and the people purposely looking down amuses me!
The hats remind me of Jughead and the Archie comics. You must have fun (and still make big efforts) finding photos with a theme. 🙂
It’s challenging, yes. I actually used to collect Archie comics and have a huge box of them still, going back to the early years when they drew Betty and Veronica with their post-war hair. But I an see what you mean about the hat!
