The ducks and I were up before the sun on Tuesday. I had an urge to don a Katherine Hepburn white turtleneck and yell, “The loons! The looons! They’re welcoming us back!”
Nice pics. I can just see Kerby out in the mist, in white cable knit shouting “Loons, Loons” and the neighbors looking out their windows, saying “She sure is”.
Ba ha ha ha! Our suburban back yard is .20 acres, which you can run the length of in about .20 seconds. No, no–that was the lakehouse in Hot Springs, Arkansas (which I like to pronounce like Our Kansas).

The mist rising, quite lovely, Kerbey, along with the ducks on the pond. I’d want to shout, too. 🙂
