Nice pictures but they don’t look like any quarries I have seen. Indiana limestone is well know in construction and the quarries lt come from are way deeper. As a matter of fact some abandoned ones are used as swimmong holes for the locals.
He’s standing on the top so you can’t see how many stories below is behind him. It gets really deep but then again, I haven’t seen them in Indiana. I don’t think I would want to jump into a swimming hole. I would get creeped out.
I get it. I agree about jumping into a big hole of indeterminiate depth full of water. Actually they are posted as no trepass but they are also close to IU so signs don’t work.
