The expression “Taxi door ears” is only basically going to be understood by UK residents and overseas visitors to London who can visualise the famous London Black Cab with it’s rear doors open the opposite way to nomal cars, it then look like people with protruding ears. Englands most famous Taxi Doors, is our new “Meddling Monarch”. He has been called taxi doors for years.
