I’m guessing this was taken at a Mexican restaurant that happened to have a tree inside it.
Can you imagine a 19-year-old dressing like this for a track meet?
Even minus the heels, in penny loafers and socks, Betty is dressed to impress.
Surely those soldiers were trying not to stare at Trebie.
Budgie knew how to hit the books.
Pat re-enacted her Gone With The Wind fantasy.
These fellows tried to get their attention after the photo shoot. Good luck!
I must be old. Although 43 was way before my time I fine their dress to be elegant and timeless. They carry themselves as women not little girls.

They look very smart and chic. I have never encountered the name Trebie before. I will need to google it.

Me neither. I don’t even know what it would be short for!

Google isn’t helping much either.

I think that football game was actually a track meet. Anyway, this right here is more pulchritude than my eyes can stand all at once. Today’s word is “pulchritude!”

I had to Google that one. Such a choppy word for beauty. It doesn’t flow at all. And it implies an attitude with its tudiness. Makes me think a proud preacher would have pulpitude.

It’s a fun word. Next time someone talks poorly about a mutual friend, just sneer slightly and say, “Yes, she is soooo pulchritudinous!” They never catch on.
