If I recall, peak Afro hairstyle was probably around 1968. By 1977 I think the giant hair style was trending down but clearly it was still mighty popular at UT. Fortunately, the fashions of the 70s died a well-deserved death, especially the genuine double-knit leisure suit.

Polyester leisure suits were a bore but how about bell bottoms and platform shoes?

Pass on both. Maybe a flared jean, but not full bell.

I never went the full fledged bell but I did do some severe flairs.
