I see that with my parents and my daughters – grandparents can offer a different kind of support. Love that they have each other. Though I don’t remember this from my childhood. I was mostly scared of my grandmas as they seemed like such stern women. What do you remember of yours?
One grandma was killed when I was 2, then I had a very stern, formidable one whom I rarely saw till I was older and made a stronger bond, and then two in Houston who were great! Very loving and encouraging. I have letters from them and video. Sorry about your grandmas!
