We’ve been dancing with the low 100’s. It’s so rare in this neck of the woods, people are melting to the sidewalks. The smoke from the forest fires is so thick it’s now leading the weather report.
We’re 103 for the next week, but we’re used to miserable heat. So add that it’s so hot where you are. Can you smell the smoke? Forest fires are so scary! I remember smoke coming down our chimney and filling our house with that smell. Terrible.
Oh, no–it was the Walden Yacht Club in Conroe, Texas. We only had brunch. We could never afford a one hour sailboat ride, much less join the ranks of yachting elite, in Austin. I’ve never even been on a cruise!

So what’s the cost? Well for a senior dog: $100 application fee, $600 initiation fee and $87/month! That tea and coffee better be tasty!
