    1. No, she didn’t know. But she does look that way in the image. Most of the time, she was smiling and looked overjoyed because Tonto (the bassett fool whom she has to suffer) wasn’t in the car this time, knocking her over and being pushy. She could just take in the scent and have peace. She’s too refined to pee on a doc floor. But after they took her temp, she did back up her rump to the wall to protect against future invasion. 🙂

  1. What a sweet dog. I wonder where that phrase came from? The phrase “Dog days of August” is pretty common around here. I know it refers to the oppressive heat and humidity of late summer but why the dog reference?
