Yeah from my info the Commodore was a flying boat that ran a lot of service to the Caribbean. Also Pan Am came about as a merger of his line and that of Eddie Rickenbacker,the WWI Ace.Who by the by save a unknown race track from obscurity. That track became the Indianapolis 500.

I know he founded Pan Am Airlines. So he was a big mover and shaker in the early days of the industry.

Well, this book said it was a “jet” but online it says a “flying boat” so I guess that’s different. I didn’t even know he founded Pan Am.
