Just in case you missed The Emmy Awards last night, Gwen Stefani mispronounced The Colbert Report when presenting the Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Series. Perhaps she was trying to make a song of it, making a rhyme: “The Cole-Bort Report.”

  2. Believe me, there’s nothing worse than being handed a piece of paper in front of an audience and your mind saying … …. …. I’m not sure how to pronounce that name. But, really, Gwen? You shoulda had this one.

    1. Exactly! I’d never heard of Idina Menzel before that blooper, so that was forgivable, but Colbert? And doesn’t she live in Europe a lot of the time, where one would know French pronunciations? But nobody’s perfect.
